But when that photo is placed beside all the years that came before and after it, something changes. The missing-tooth smile, the oversized backpack, the new haircut, the teenager who suddenly looks grown—they become more than separate pictures.

They become the visible story of a childhood.

ICEICEE was created to give every part of that story a place.

Our Founder

My name is Harry Silverstein, founder of ICEICEE.

After graduating from college, I began running a photo studio. One day, I spread photographs from different school years across a small dining table and rearranged them again and again.I had many of them, but without my parents explaining each one, I could not always remember how old I was or what grade I had been in.
My childhood had been photographed, but the whole story was difficult to see.
Then I thought:“Why not give every year a place on the same board?”
That question became the foundation of ICEICEE.

The frame was no longer simply a way to display photographs.It became a place where a family’s story could keep growing.

Our Mission

At ICEICEE, our mission is to turn scattered school photos into one visible story of growing up.

We create meaningful keepsakes that help families see the small changes that are easy to miss from year to year—from the first oversized backpack to the final graduation cap. Every frame is thoughtfully designed to give each school year a place, so parents and grandparents can look back and truly see how far their child has come.

Because time keeps moving, but the moments that shaped a childhood deserve to remain close.

Inside the Studio

My studio is filled with wood-finish samples, old frames and tested photo sizes.

For every new design, I place photographs from different ages into each opening and step back to make sure the progression can still be clearly seen.

I carefully check:

The placement of every grade
The balance of the name and year
The visibility of each photograph
The proportion of every opening
The way each wood finish feels inside a family home

Every frame is designed, prototyped and packaged through the studio.

The goal is never simply to create another decorative product. It is to make the small changes between each school year visible.
